Shockwave

1 h560 Northern Boulevard

Service Description

Shockwave therapy is a noninvasive treatment where high-energy sound waves are applied to an injured or chronic problem area to stimulate the body's natural healing process, increase blood flow, and reduce pain. It is used for conditions like chronic tendinopathies (e.g., plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow), nonunion fractures, and other degenerative issues. The process involves delivering pulses of shockwaves to the affected tissue, promoting cell repair, regeneration, and remodeling of the tissue. While typically considered safe with minimal side effects, patients may experience temporary discomfort, swelling, or bruising.
